Backup
You should always have a backup plan for your data, and one that should at the very least involve a local copy and an offsite copy.
If you have a Apple MobileMe subscription you have access to download the useful Apple Backup. It’s great for backing up setting and other smaller documents to your iDisk.
Many applications have a quickpick file that enables you to easily backup that applications files. It a set and forget application that makes a great addition to your backup regime.
